Our group of amazing Cannafriends have voted on who has made the biggest impact in our community this month. We were honored to speak with Jane Fix and ask her about what she has done to pave her way through the industry! Find the interview below!

What company do you work for, and what is your job title?
”I am the Director of Patient Services for Sol Flower Dispensaries which are powered by Copperstate Farms”

How long have you been working in the cannabis industry?
”I started out in 2011 managing a caregiver collective before dispensaries opened.”

What was your motivation to get involved with cannabis? 
”I have believed in the plant since the late 60's, being a California gal.”

Who is your role model and why?
”Debbie Goldsberry who started Berkeley Patients Group in the 2000’s in the Bay area.”

What is your favorite method of consumption?

“ All of them!”

Is there a seasonal product you like for summertime?
”I love warm summer nights in the backyard with some good flower.”

What advice do you have for someone looking to get into the cannabis industry?
”Network, that is where opportunity meets preparation so be ready. You have to be seen to be remembered go to every event, be professional at all times.

I made my own cannabis business cards and handed them out at planning meetings back in the day.”

Anything else you would like to include about yourself!
”I feel that cannabis is the safest medicine on the planet and all people should have access without fear of persecution. I can't stand to see people suffer needlessly.”
